Cisco Jabber delivers instant messaging, voice and video calls, voice messaging, desktop sharing, conferencing, and presence.
Click on the jabber shortcut
If the shortcut isnt on your desktop click the start bar and type “jabber”
Sign into Jabber using your username and password . You will have to put @barstow.edu at the end of your username
This will redirect you to the college sign in page where you login as normal.
Once in Jabber you will need to adjust your settings
Click your profile icon
Click settings
Click audio
Change your Microphone and speaker to what headset or microphone you are using . The laptop does have a microphone.
Click apply and ok once you have the right set up . Keep checking here if you have audio issues
Don't try and use jabber while on the remote desktop . It will try and use the speaker and mic from your campus computer, not the laptop .
